Robin (WAVE seen)

Date: 01/11/2008

Number: 1

As soon as I went outside for my walk yesterday, my immediate reaction was springtime! I am not a birder by any means, but I must have a mental association between the sound of robins and springtime. And there were hundreds, maybe thousands of them up in the trees, singing (dawn song) and eating berries. As I walked along the bike paths on Kiawah, there are berries dropping from the trees and I can hear the robins up in the trees, eating and dropping, on and around me. As they dropped uneaten berries, I then saw a couple of deer eating the berries on the path, so I guess everybody benefits. It was around 68 degrees yesterday.
