Ten of our 100 tulips had emerged when we came in this morning. It took 12 days of them being in the ground before they began to poke out of the soil. We think some emerged before ours because they were in the ground longer and had started growing before ours even hit the soil. We wish we could compare to other Florida gardens so we could see if our tulips match up with others that were "planted" in the freezer before being put in the soil.
