I was pulling weeds in a flower bed that contains milkweed and poinsettias this afternoon and found at least 6 caterpillars on the milkweed. They range from very small to about 1 inch in length - I hope they survive the cold weather that we usually have in February. We saw caterpillars last year in this same flowerbed, but it was later in the year.
