Today I saw a flock of about 50 robins in the yard across the street. They were running across the grass and appeared to be looking for earthworms. Earlier I saw 75 to 100 robins together in a nearby neighborhood exhibiting the same behavior. I have heard robins all winter and have seen an occasional one or two at a time. I have never seen a flock like this in February. If these are overwintering robins why haven't we seen them like this before?
