I saw the robins over a 2-3 day period. The weather was our normal changeable north Florida winter weather (one day it's 40 - next day it's 70). We maintain a pretty bird-friendly habitat in our back yard (we have about an acre of land).
The robins generally show up twice a year. They feed on the ground - all over the property (guess we have lots of bugs!) - and drink and bath in the bird baths. They do not feed on the bird feeders. Don't know the exact number this year. My best guess would be 2-3 dozen at any one time.
