Just got my first Robin update email and remembered that I forgot to post this. Noticed also that others have reported early "voices". This is earlier than last year which was February 2nd (I'll remember Ground Hog day as the benchmark). I have heard them again since-it is usually just a lone crier and I did see a flock of 16 Robins (reported for Birdwatch) on January 6th in a Cedar tree gorging on berries. I think they are here all year round as we have been having exceptionally mild winters and more so on the coast.
I’m not a great auditory discriminator and I can not tell if it was a “song” or “dawn song”. I also heard the “peek and tut” on a different occasion.
