We had 5 caterpillars on our Milkweeds starting around the 25th of January. They were all very large the last time I saw them. We have one Chrysalis hanging from the ceiling of our patio. We noticed it around the end of January. Also had one Queen caterpillar eating with the Monarchs.
Some of my Milkweed was hit with one cold night but most survived the winter months just fine. We have our Hummingbird feeders out in case they return before the end of February like they did last year.
