Robin (WAVE seen)

Date: 02/06/2008

Number: 1

At approximately 8:45 AM, we looked out at the berry tree by our classroom window and saw several robins (about 8) who were gulping down berries as fast as they could. They hopped from branch to branch, then suddenly all left.
Our weather: 33 degrees, having a bit of an ice storm. The ground is frozen with pools of icy water or messy snow on top. Last night was very rainy--a big thunderstorm came through.
We are so excited!
We'll be looking for them throughout the day; don't know whether they are making a stopover for a day or so, or are already back on their journey.
