Arriving home from work about 4:00 PM, I was greeted with the sight of 18, (yes, eighteen!)robins overturning wet leaves on my snowless lawn. I sat in my car watching for sometime trying to figure out what they were finding to eat on this cold, blustery day. Recent rain had melted the snow and ice and left the ground quite soggy. When I finally got out of the car, they flew north toward the backyard. We had light snow today and colder temperatures. I wonder where those robins are keeping warm. Mary Lynne Johnson
