Wow! We were so surprised!! We had planned to go outside to dig up one of our bulbs to see what it looked like now (which we did). We never expected our bulbs to be poking through the ground already! We've had some unusually warm days, but also some very cold ones. We've broken records for both the highest and the lowest temperatures in our area in the last couple of weeks. Amazing! We learned that the bulbs are like batteries, holding stored energy that the plant burns up as it grows. We found two sprouts for every one bulb that we had planted.
