Red-winged Blackbirds are back. Yesterday (2/9) we had one male at the feeder briefly and today we had 14 (all males as usual this early). We also had one Rusty Blackbird in with the Red-wings.
Given the lack of adult males over the winter, I am quite sure that these are migratory birds.
