Two robins were on the ground under a large evergreen and also up in the adjacent maple trees on Monday Feb. 18, 2008 around 4 pm. They made single loud cheeping sounds as they were flying. They were
about 500 feet from Lake Huron. The lake is open with a bit of ice along the shoreline.
The week before this, we had high winds, snow, ice and very cold temperatures down to 0'F. Saturday and Sunday, it rained and the temperature was up to 47'F in the daytime with a low of 33'F. Monday was dry
and about 40'F. Tuesday was cold and the temperature ranged from 15'F to 26'F.
