I spotted at least 10 Robins in my 30 foot high Flowering Bradford Pear tree, eating the pear berries. I also have pyracantha brushes in my yard. It is very unusual to see Robins in the Mojave Desert. Since we are in the foothills of the mountains surrounding the Antelope Valley at the beginning of the Mojave Desert in an area of fruit orchards and many swimming pools, I am wondering if the Robins are adding this area to their fly way habitat.
