A lone robin was sitting in a maple tree, looking to see what a flock of grackles, redwing blackbirds, and starlings found so interesting at the feeders in the back yard. This is my first sighting of a robin in my yard this year, though they have been reported around locally all winter. Hopefully this is my resident bird, I have a pair that nests in or around the yard each year.
