As I was filling the feeders this morning I noticed the maple trees have that reddish color at the tips of the branches, the leaf buds are swelling, so I checked some of the shrubs and observed the quince, blue berries, honeysuckle etc. have thickening buds. The snowdrops have pushed around 2 inches out of the ground and a few crocus are starting to push leaves also. So it begins!!!
