Today on the UW-Milwaukee campus I suddenly noticed a robin in a snow-covered tree. I stopped immediately to watch him, and then my friend and I realized that there were a few others nearby. The longer we watched, the more robins we saw in bushes and trees across the street. I'd guess we saw at least a dozen today. It was quite a pleasant surprise!
