I was thrilled to see what looked like 200 Robins outside my window Saturday morning...it reminded me of "The Birds". Seemed like there were groups of 10...and they would fly back and forth from the willow trees along our creek to our ashalt roof...pecking at the small pebbles (for digestion?). The neighood cat was dizzy watching them all over head. The resident Jays were very upset and confused...and let everyone know it. There were also a group of about 50 Wrens flying with them. All this activity went on for several hours...during which I tried contacting my neighbors...none of whom were home to share in the phenomena....nuts! I was awestruck!
