We had a very healthy looking male Ruby Throated at the feeder this morning early. I quickly made fresh food for them and had a beautiful female come in a short while later. They seem to come earlier each year. For several years they arrived on March 3rd. Last year it was February 28th and now the 26th. We don't have a lot of flowers blooming yet so we purchased several pots of Salvia for them today. We're always happy to see them arrive!
