Well it's six years straight now for winter BARN SWALLOW detections in Coos County. Holly and I saw three feeding while working there way north on the north spit of Coos Bay about 3PM. Although this may have become an 'expected' sighting by many, it's still amazes me that one of the former latest arriving spring swallows (prior to the early 2000s) now shows up regularly during mid-winter in the PNW?!
