Lake Fork, nearest town, Emory, Texas (East Texas). Large fishing lake. Saw one lone loon on this day swimming, not diving toward evening (coloration mottled black and white back and greyish head. Assume to be female. Returned two days later and more loons had arrived. They were diving and one pair interacting.
