The 4-H Junior Master Gardeners of Mt. Vernon ES were excited when our first tulip bloomed in our Mustang Meadows schoolyard garden. They wrote notes in their garden journal, and we took photos on the 31st when even more of the tulips were blooming. But the sighting was not reported online last spring (sorry!). Based on their journal notes and the photos, we are now updating our online records to reflect last year's blooming date.
