Robin (First SEEN)

Date: 02/21/2008

Number: 1

The weather has finally started warming up a bit. Our snow just started melting when my husband heard it last week.
We believe it is more of a whinny sound. It is a little bit lower in tone and more of a one note but broken like the whinny. It looks like the same Robin, we had take up residence in our yard the last couple years.
We put in a recirculating bird bath last year and it was sitting on the fence like it was waiting for the water again. It bathed there last year. We tried keeping the water flowing all winter with a warmer but it froze on top and the water iced up and emptied the pond. Shawn got it going today. Why I believe it is our former Robin, is because he or she has and unusual black head. I only saw it again last evening so I will know more later.
