We anxiously awaited emergence. This is the first year and we were afraid the planting area was too wet--causing rot. Today the temperature reached 62 degrees F. Our micro-environments emerged over three weeks ago due to close proximity to buildings. Buds are beginning on tree branches and we saw the first robin this week as well.
