I saw 3 bald eagles circling above the Merrimac River in Amesbury, MA. One flew very close and circled directly overhead. It appeared that they were fishing in the river, although I did not see them catch any fish. About 15 minutes after that sighting I saw 2 more (possibly the same birds) further down the river flying above the tree line on the Newbury bank of the Merrimac.
