Four second grade classes planted red emperor tulips in four separate sites. We also planted a "What If?" garden. Each class asked a different question. What if we wrappped the tulip in plastic? cut it in half? planted it with a chocolate kiss? gave it a belly-button? The children are very excited to see if and how their tulips grow.
