I thought they would be here later coming this year than last which I believe for me was about the l6th of March. I saw my first ruby throat just before dark at about 6:00 P.M. I sat up from the couch and there he was sitting at my hummingbird feeder right outside my porch window. What a surprise as I had been watching for any hummingbird every day since a winter hummingbird left here on January 28th and I hadn't seen one since that date until now. After I saw the ruby throat at the feeder it came back about three times and I tried to photograph it but it always zoomed away just about the time I had my camera ready to go.
