En route to the National Zoo to volunteer, saw my first daffodils in bloom in a small sidewalk garden near the Metro. I was so happy I took its picture...passersby must've thought me a tourist...oh well...

Also while in the zoo itself, saw about about a dozen additional daffodils open, and upon exiting several hours later and heading a different way back, saw a cherry tree blossoming...photographed everything as I just love spring so!
