I saw the first male rufous of the year at 13:45 this afternoon at a feeder outside my office window. Tried to take a photo but got too excited and was unable to focus before he left. (Have four photos with very blurry orange blotches.) Better luck next time. The resident Anna's seemed unperturbed by his arrival.
