Robin (First SEEN)

Date: 03/08/2008

Number: 1

A healthy looking Robbin appeared in our winter covered blue spruce on Saturday around 4:00pm in the afternoon. He appeared healthy but very cold. He was perched on the limb of the tree with his feathers puffed out to help keep him warm. From time to time he would eat snow, as his source of water. It just looked so different to see a red-breasted robin so early and in a snow covered tree. Poor little thing. I hope he survives as they are typically meat eaters (worms & bugs).
