Robin (WAVE seen)

Date: 03/07/2008

Number: 1

March 13
When the robins first appeared this year (3/7) the day time temps were about 45 to 50 and the nights 30's. There were a couple of dozen pairs that appeared in one day and since I live at the edge of a woods and a lake there is plenty for them to eat, so they turned every leaf they could get their beaks on. I did notice that just a couple of days later they were gone and I haven't seen one in my yard since. Perhaps they were just passing through at this point. We are now experiencing 60 to 65 temps during the day and small tufts of green grass are starting to push through.
