I just received a report from my friend back in Creston and he reported that a few robins showed up on February 26th. They didn't look too happy to be back as there is still quite a bit of snow. Our valley, like the rest of the country, has had a miserable winter. The robins haven't arrived in the same numbers as usual either. The blackbirds showed up yesterday. Hopefully our pond will be thawed enough for them to find some food and shelter.
