Not sure if I'm seeing the American Robin or the Rufous Backed Robin. We are not far from Mexico. My yard was full of Robins who were eating the ivy berries in the wild ivy bushes on my hill. The sound was beautiful and melodic. A golden throated sound unlike our local birds. I saw a Robin here for the first time last year. This year it seemed like 200 of them were visiting. The second day there were only about 15 of the birds and today they are all gone. If its the Rufous, then they may be extending their range. If anyone knows which I may have see I would appreciate knowing.
