Robin (First HEARD singing)

Date: 03/17/2008

Number: 1

The weather has varied from 60 degree days to 25 degree nights...who knew NY was a desert-like climate?! Actually, it's typical early March, as I'm sure you know. There is still a tiny bit of snow in shady areas, but earthworms have begun to surface, so there is a food source in addition to whatever berries are left and the mealy worms being provided. I have seen a 1/2 dozen robins or so, singing in trees primarily...all seem happy and healthy.
