While out in my back garden planting the pansy-border that I install every March, I found my first (yuck) slimy Leopard Slug of the year! Because they have a fondness for pansies, I 'transplanted' him to one of my pansy-free garden beds. That evening my husband I also spotted one on our front walk in the light rain.
