I was observing the local waterbirds around our way when I noticed a bald eagle flying above. He seemed to have a destination in mind. I was able to get a couple of shots off with my camera before he got out of sight.
I learned from our local refuge last year that we have several pairs of year-round resident bald eagles here, and I believe that this one, on this day of my observation, could have been a local resident.
