This afternoon (2 Mar), there were 4 adult Barn Swallows at their usual nesting culvert on Ben Hur Rd. in Baton Rouge. Daily checks of this location through late February resulted in no swallows. Therefore, they had arrived either yesterday or today. Still on the early side for spring arrivals in s. interior LA.
