From across the marsh I heard my first RWBB singing. I stopped the dogs and we all waited to listen for a confirmation. As we walked on around the corner we heard him call again, then sighted him at the top of a cottonwood on the edge of the marsh right above us, his epaulets flashing in the morning sun.
