Our snow is melting as temps are in the high 30s and low 40s, but we are under a winter weather warning tonight.
The robins I saw appeared to be checking for worms on the wet ground. They were also checking out the seed under my feeders. We are hearing more birdsong each morning, but I can't identify birds this way. Today the pile of snow I have had near my classroom door finally became just a small puddle and by end of the day was just a dry layer of sand.
