I saw the first female rufous on 03/12 at one of my feeders. I kept the feeders up and fresh all winter for the many Anna's that overwintered. I saw my first male rufous hummingbird today 03/19 at one of the feeders. I have lived here for 1 year and never saw a male rufous until today. Many females last year, though.
