Robin (First HEARD singing)

On March 14th at in the late afternoon, I heard the robin in the edge of our woods calling its territorial song. It was around 5PM, the sun was out, it was a partly sunny day, cool and breezy. High in the upper 40's during the day and about 42 degrees when I heard the song.


This morning, March 19, at 7:53 AM my student reported that he heard the robin singing the territorial song in his back yard in the trees. It was raining lightly and the temperature was around 42-44 degrees.

On March 19th at 5:06 PM student #17 was with his parent when they heard the robins singing their territorial song near the parking lot of the school over by the fields. It was partly cloudy with a slight beginning of a drizzle. The temperature was in the upper 40's degrees, around 48'F.



Student #9 reported hearing the robin singing a territorial song out in front of her house in the woods on March 19th at 7:35 AM when the temperature was 51'F. It was partly cloudy at the time.



Student #4 heard the robin singing a territorial song this morning, March 20th, at 8:30 AM out by his bus stop. It was around 50'F at that time. It was partly sunny at that time.
