I have heard one robin most mornings when I get to work. We have a small patch of woods between the fields at my school and it sings there. It sounds the most like the song labeled 'song.' I couldn't see it because there are a lot of trees there. I did recognize the song because you asked me to be listening for it, so I listened to what it was supposed to sound like and then actually heard it the very next morning. I get to work shortly after dawn. It's been cold here, and I think it has been pretty clear [no rain or snow] the mornings that I have heard the singing. I don't recall the temperature, either, but I would guess the 20's or 30's because that is what it pretty much is every morning right now.
