I inspected newly emerged milkweed at the Choctaw Trails site in SW Jackson, MS this afternoon (20 March 08) and found no eggs on the 10 clumps of Asclepias viridis sprouts (~1inch) found. No adult Monarchs have been seen yet. This site was also inspected on 3/15/08 but no milkweed was up at that time.
