Robin (First SEEN)

Date: 03/21/2008

Number: 1

Yesterday,(3/21) when I saw the Robin, was a fairly nice day, but the ground here is still covered in snow. I was watching the Blue Jays, Sparrows and Red Polls hopping around the feeders and taking baths in the icy puddles on the street, when I saw a single Robin light on the snow bank across the street. Later in the day we saw 2 more in the Manitoba Maples across the street. So far they are just looking for food and survival. It was snowing again today, so any bare ground is once more covered. They do come into my feeders and pick at the suet and seeds (I think it's the cracked corn that they eat) that I have out for the other birds.
