The date entered is approximately the date we established our Monarch Watch Waystation #850. Our plot of 40'x10' milkweed garden is mixed in with our perennial garden and has been expanded each year since 1996. There was no milkweed in our area so we 'imported' two plants from a nearby Manitoba roadside. Last year we harvested eggs from our milkweed garden, raised them inside and released 155 back into the wild.
