A single female was observed ovipositing at the Choctaw Trails site in SW Jackson, MS this afternoon (3/22/08) at around 2:30-3:00 pm. The wind was gusting from the south as the female moved from one milkweed clump to another. She spent about 1 minute at each stop and left 1 or 2 eggs per plant.
