Approximately six red-winged blackbirds arrived at tree where my suet feeder station is this morning (22 March), although they did not feed as the feeder was already occupied by a squirrel and there were an equal number of blue jays in line. One red-winged blackbird which did try to approach closer to one of the feeders was chased away by a a blue jay, and the others then flew away with it.
