On Saturday March 22nd, at about 4:45 PM, with a light snow falling and temperature of about 35 degrees, I heard a robin singing its territorial song. It was amidst a big crowd of robins in an oak grove at Bredesen Park in Edina, which were peeking and tutting away.
On Easter Sunday, at around 3 PM in Bredesen Park, Edina, with a temp of around 35, a number of robins were singing their territorial song. This was in the same oak grove where I heard just one bird singing that song on Saturday. There were also lots of cedar waxwings in the same trees.
