Robin (First SEEN)

Date: 03/20/2008

Number: 1

March 26
I was driving my son to school last week. I really felt sorry for the little guy, I saw only one and he was just standing on a patch of grass probably looking for something to eat. Our weather in Burlington has been cold and we have a lot of snow on the ground. I think it's pretty hard for them to find food. I saw him again the following day in the same location and my mother in law saw one too. I know that my mother-in-law heard one singing, but I haven't yet. This week, the snow is starting to recede but it's really not warming up much. We live on a court and usually each of our neighbor's lawns has a robin or two in spring - nothing so far here - (we still have four foot snow drifts in front of everyone's house).
