I saw one lone robin in an open field and seemed to be just resting. It was cold and overcast with the temperature at near 0 degrees. I was surprised to experience this sighting as the weather in Nova Scotia has been unusually cold.This has delayed my production of maple syrup which is well behind past years. Will be watching for the arrival in our back yard and look forward to their singing which is the final notes that indicates that spring has finally arrived.
