It was exciting to see the robin alone under an evergreen where some snow had melted. We still have 12 inches on the ground in most places. Last week (3/18) I saw perhaps 10 robins in our back yard and several lone birds as I drove on country road. They will likely depend on seeds or berries as there is still 95%snow cover around Leaskdale and no worms in sight!
